What if the Voices are Real? Compassion for the Voices (90 minutes, virtual) 11/19, 12/19, 1/12/25
The tendency many clinicians and loved ones have to dismiss voice hearing experiences as irrelevant is an unfortunate, yet common misstep. This training offers a deeper discussion about connections between adverse events and the likelihood of “psychotic” experiences, including environmental and intergenerational trauma. Review those ways life challenges may connect to voices, visions and belief systems that do not necessarily align with consensus reality. Walk away with new insights into voices and visions that may be extremely pertinent to supporting someone living with sensory phenomena.
