Building on the foundations of Developmental Transformations, this advanced offering invites participants to deepen their relationship to play as both a personal and professional practice. In serious and uncertain times, returning to play can create flexibility, responsiveness, and renewed vitality. This course is designed for those who have prior experience with DvT and are ready to move more fully into complexity, nuance, and sustained engagement within the play space.
Over four Sunday mornings, participants will engage in more extended and layered group and individual DvT play, with increased attention to relational dynamics, form, rupture and repair, and moments of “stuckness” as sites of possibility. Then, across four Wednesday evenings, we will reflect together on the lived play experience, weaving in DvT theory and key writings to deepen understanding of what emerged in the play space and how it informs clinical work, creativity, and everyday life.
This hybrid course offers a supportive, playful community for practitioners seeking to expand their capacity for spontaneity, tolerance for uncertainty, and embodied joy, not by leaving seriousness behind, but by meeting it playfully. This class provides 6 Level 1 Seminar Hours and 12 Embodied Play hours towards Practitioner Certification.
Cost: Tier 1 - $720, Tier 2 - $600, Tier 3 - $480
